No one escapes the pool

It’s true. Almost everyone at the party ended up in the pool at one point during the party. Many can blame Ogre for this. Others can blame there lack of peripheral vision or too much booze. Either way it was funny. Check out these quick videos I shot with the small camera. I’ll have some more pics up in the photo section after I get a chance to go through them again.

Video: “We’re puttin’ in a slider next week!”

There is nothing that makes me smile more than seeing people taking junker cars and ramming them into/onto/through other objects. This little gem I found on Jalopnik.com, my favorite auto blog.

This must be somewhere in the midwest judging by the accent and those silly hats with the ear flaps. Remember kids, if you’re going to do this make sure you use a big american car. A Honda Civic will not give you proper level of destruction.

And now, your moment of “Holy Crap!”

I love rally car racing. Awesome cars with Formula One technology and Baja 1000 style suspension. For all the intense conditions these cars endure, sometimes things go wrong and the result is a crash that makes you rewind over and over again to say “Holy Crap!”

Lucky for us, this is one of those times.

Someone in this clip is not happy.

List of known speed traps in Arizona

If you have a problem with your speedometer matching the signs on the side of the road, make sure to check out Speed Trap Exchange, a website devoted entirely to user submitted info on speed traps around the country. They have some good info on fighting the tickets, as well as the speed limit laws for individual states.

Pretty neat, and definately might come in handy for some of you looking for “alternate routes” with minimal/no police presence.
